Privacy Policy

Nuetta team (“we”, “us” or “our”) operates the Nuetta website and mobile/desktop applications (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

1. PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register or create an account within the application, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in Nuetta. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, their name and email address. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Service-related activities.

2. NON-PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Service. Non-personal identification information may include the browser or device name, the type of computer/mobile device, and technical information about Users' means of connection to our Service, such as the operating system, the Internet service providers utilized, device identifiers, and other similar technical data.

3. WEB BROWSER COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE

Our Service may use “cookies” and local storage technologies to enhance User experience. The User's web browser or device places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them (such as keeping you logged into your Nuetta account). Users may choose to set their web browser or device settings to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Nuetta Service may not function properly.

4. USER FILES AND IMAGE PROCESSING (AI PHOTO EDITOR)

To provide our core photo editing service, you upload images or photos (“User Files”) to Nuetta.

  • Processing: We process your User Files solely to apply the requested AI filters, enhancements, and editing tools.
  • Third-Party Storage Integrations: You may be able to access our services and upload User Files via third-party services, such as Dropbox and Google Drive. For this purpose, you do not have to provide your login credentials for the third-party service directly to us. Instead, we will let you access our services with an authorization token (aka “OAuth token”) from the third-party service provider confirming that you are a valid user of their service. We process this information to enable your use of our services (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR).

5. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND THIRD-PARTY LOGINS

If you create a Nuetta account (including for a free trial or premium subscription of our services) via our website or mobile apps, we process your email address and the password you choose at registration.

You can also create a user account for our services using your pre-existing Google, Apple, or Facebook accounts and use that third-party platform’s credentials to log in to your user account with us:

  • Google: This involves us processing your name, surname, email address, and public profile information (e.g., profile picture).
  • Facebook: We will process your email address and public profile information (username and profile picture).
  • Apple: This involves us processing your username and email address.

The third-party platform may ask for your consent to share this data with us. As the personal data we may process under this option was originally collected by the third-party platform, the initial data processing and sharing of the data with us is governed by the privacy policy of such third-party platforms (Google, Apple, or Facebook). Please refer to the relevant third-party platform and/or its settings if you want to deactivate the connection between the third-party platform and Nuetta.

We process Your Personal Data to set up your user account and, thus, form a contractual relationship (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR).

6. SECURITY LOGS AND ABUSE PREVENTION

For security reasons, we also process the time, browser/app details, IP address of your last login, and the time of your last password reset. We have a legitimate interest to process this information to filter out suspicious login requests and to detect and prevent abuse of your user credentials (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR).

7. HOW WE USE COLLECTED INFORMATION

Nuetta collects and uses Users' personal information for the following purposes:

  • To personalize user experience: We may use aggregated information to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided within Nuetta.
  • To improve our Service: We constantly optimize our AI models and application features based on technical performance data.
  • To send periodic emails: If a User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

8. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices, and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information, and data stored within our Service.

Our systems are monitored and maintained in compliance with industry vulnerability standards in order to create as secure of an environment as possible for Users. Financial transactions and credit card processing are handled securely via encrypted third-party payment gateways and are never stored on our servers.

9. SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users' personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes mentioned above.

We may use third-party service providers to help us operate our business and the Service or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission or where necessary to fulfill our contract with you.

10. ADVERTISING

Ads appearing on our site or application may be delivered to Users by advertising partners, who may set cookies or device identifiers. These identifiers allow the ad server to recognize your computer or mobile device each time they send you an online advertisement to compile non-personal identification information about you or others who use your device. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies/identifiers by Nuetta and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

11. DATA DELETION REQUESTS

If you need to delete your account and all associated information from our system, please use your registered email address to send the “delete account” command to our support team at: support@nuetta.com. We will process your request within the timeframe required by applicable data protection laws.

12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Nuetta team has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will post a notification on the main page of our Site or send an in-app update notice. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any modifications to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of changes.

13. YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By using this Service (website or application), you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Service. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
